Somewhere I Have Never Traveled

By E. E. Comings

Somewhere I have never traveled, gladly beyond
any experience, your eyes have their silence:
in your most frail gesture are things which enclosed me,
or which I cannot touch, because they are too near.

Your slightest look easily will unclose me,
though I have closed myself as fingers,
you open always petal by petal myself as Springs open,
(touching skillfully, mysteriously) her first rose.

or if you wish be to close me,
I and my life will shut very beautifully, suddenly,
as when the heart of this flower imagines
the snow carefully everywhere descending...

(p/s this just reminds me of you, of us, that's all)

I Hate Good People

Well, not all good people, just those who seems too good to be real, and this week, I really have to say that I HATE Elena (from TVD) and Cassie (from TSC), both are the main female lead on the two of my most favorite CW series (p/s I adore Hart of Dixie too). After watching two of the latest episode of both those series, it seems so obvious that all the other cast on the show would be much better off without these two girls.

Feb

So January is dead and gone, and  we're half way through February. My last post here was on January, which seems to be a few centuries ago, and some of you might have notice that I haven't been writing much about me, just some random stuff that I found interest in or what might interest you in. It's not that I don't wanna a little bit personal, I do, but with the people who care. So if you care and my blog doesn't provide enough insight to my private life, hit me up, you know my number.

February. The shortest month of the year. Chinese new year is officially over, but there are a couple of highlights for this month. First of all, there's death. The last time I wrote about death, it was about Amy Winehouse, this time, it's Whitney Houston. I guess the glee club in Heaven just got a new member. Am I a fan of Whitney, at some point of my life, yes. I remember the first time I was attracted to her song was when she released her classy music video for 'It's Not Right But It's OK'. Damn, this lady got style and voice. And then I fell in love with her duet with Mariah Carey on 'When You Believe', which was the soundtrack for 'The Prince of Egypt' movie/ cartoon which was never released in Malaysia due to religious issued (if I'm not mistaken). She was like the Rihanna of the music industry back then, with Bobby Brown which was her own personal Chris Brown. He didn't almost beat her up tp death, but he does dragged her down when she was soaring sky-high. After the news of her death spread through my facebook wall and twitter feeds like a wild fire, I saw this particular post, where someone said that Rihanna's 'We Found Love' video was like the story of Whitney's life, but the only difference is that Rihanna left that jackass but Whitney stayed with hers.

Lana: Before & After Her SNL Performance

Usually I will check out a new singer or a new movie after there have been so much buzz about it on the internet. So, lately it seems like everyone on the world wide web has been talking about this Lana Del Rey girl, whose album had just came out around the end of this month, entitled Born To Die.

It seems that she has been making the headlines since last year, when she debuted her 'Video Game' single, which was featured on Ringer (another tv show on the CW channel about twins who hate and wanna kill each other ). I couldn't remember which episode this song was featured on, because this ain't a song that will stick in your head after a first listen. Lana's voice is unique, kinda like British singer Birdy, but most of her song kinda took being emo up another notch. The music video for Video Game was released soon afterward, generating more buzz and so many views on Youtube.

More people who didn't knew who this girl was, got their fair share of gloomy husky voice and even knew ho to spell her name right, after her buzz-worthy performance on SNL. Some said it was the worst live performance on the history of SNL, some said it was unique, some said it was amazing. But I guess Lana wouldn't mind what people said, because her performance that night got people talking, and her album is just around the corner, this is what she need. So, if you ask me, about her SNL performance (I'll post the video after the bump), I don't it was as worst as some people said it was, I just got the feeling that she's just not good with singing live.

24

Ever since the first day of 2012, people has been counting down each and everyday with daily trending topics like page 1 of 366, page 3 or 366 and so on (p/s there are 366 days this year). So on the 12th day, I took to my twitter and wrote: Page 12 of 366, I was born today, 24 years ago. I'm actually pretty confused on how should I react to this number. Happy? Maybe, I did made it through one year in one piece. Sad? Maybe a bit, who in the world would love aging? This ain't your typical one step forward making two steps back. Yes, I'm confused, every time around this day, but still, I feel blessed.

Youtube

I wanna do something different today. I wanna add another tag in my blog, a tech tag. People who knew me knew was a bit nerdy when it comes to computer, gadget and other techy stuff, so maybe I'll share some info that I found useful here, though I can't really be at service if your lappy is fucked and needed some reformatting.

So, I'll start it off by writing about one of my favorite thing on the internet: Youtube. For me, Youtube is just as important as Facebook, Google and Twitter. However, I came to notice that most of friends aren't putting the use of Youtube to it fullest. So, my first suggestion when it come to Youtube to you, is please create a Youtube account. It's just as simple as creating your Facebook or Twitter account, however, if you have a google account or a blogger account, you can actually just sign into Youtube by logging in one of those account.

So, here's what your Youtube page look like for most of you who don't have a Youtube account:

They are just some random videos on the front page that might or might not interest you. You still gotta need to head to the search box if you wanna look for some particular video. But, this is what your Youtube page will look like once you have sign in:

I Hate

Changes. Yup. That's the thing I hated the most about life. I remember the Joey McIntyre used to sang: "And I hope you always stay the same", but somewhere deep down I know it's hardly possible to someone to always to stay the same, life changes, people changes, every single shits in this whole universe changes.

I easily get used to the people around me, my surrounding, the way of life that I thought that I had designed for me. But then changes just walked in the room and swept me off my feet like Katrina, and I'd have to start all over again. Rebuilding my life, rebuilding myself.

So here I am, at another crossroad, another starting point. Saying goodbye to the way I was before. Everything ends at the start.
