I Have No Life At All

Well, except from all of the TV shows I watched. I know it's my last semester and I should really be worrying about my thesis but heck I still have time for tons of TV shows. Life gets lonelier when you get older, your best friends die one by one (pardon my pessimism),  you other friends start dating and started to orbit around some chicks instead of sticking to gravity, some of your not-so-close friends ended up marrying his laptop and move to a lonely island with wi-fi connection. Okay, I'm getting no where with this. My point is, if life sucks (which I think mine is slowing picking up on that), we might as well watch how other people lives their lives, maybe it be professionally or supernaturally.

So, there are some new shows I that picked up, along with some other running shows which survived the cut. So, here are some of my review of these shows, and if you're interested, you know where to find me, if you're not, then this is where you stop reading.

Para- Para- Paradise

Everybody knows Coldplay is huge! Coldplay is practically one of the most successful band around, they stand in the class of huge names such as  U2, Bon Jovi and so on. I'm not a big fan but I do pay attention everytime they released something new. They have a new album coming out soon, and they've dropped thier first single 'Every Teardrop's a Waterfall', which was good but the music kinda sounds like native Sarawak music.

But when I heard their second single 'Paradise', I was blown away. First of the all, the intro music was pure art and it instantly grabbed my attention. When the guitar and bass comes in, every single melody falls into place. Christ Martin's voice sang the lyric as if he was telling a story of a girl dreaming of a paradise. Man, they better have a beautiful video for this single or else I'm gonna be really pissed. For those who give a shit, check out Coldplay's live performance of the song below, and the lyric too.

The Killing Has Begun

When the season changes in the state, some TV shows come back to life. Finally, new The Vampire Diaries! I admit I'm still piss at the fact that this show LOVES killing its cast members. I mean look at Aunty Jenna. So, as the new episode premier, I won't expect the show to be more merciful. It never was.

On the street of Tokyo

Damn, I gotta give it to the Japanese for their creativity.

Defying Gravity

Upside down or downside up

A Promise To Someone

I made a promise to someone, who heard my cover song of Rainie Yang's cold war. Yes, people never saw me as a Rainie fan, but I do think some of her songs were actually pretty good, and Cold War was one of my fav.

So, I did a little cover of my own, and someone heard it. I ended up promising that someone that I would post it on the net, unlike my other covers. Ah ha, but that person just said on the net, but internet is a gigantic ocean, so I'm free to post it anywhere.

My first intention was to post it on Facebook, where everyone could see it, but the my link doesn't work. So, it's Plan B then.

Lost In Paradise

Okay, I'm a big fan of Evanescene, not because that I'm into emo or punk or metal or whatever you may call it. I just love Amy Lee (the lead singer)'s voice. She got herself a huge set of pipe, in my opinion, she's the emo version of Kelly Clarkson, which reminds me that Kelly once turn emo too on her My December album, which in turn sounds evanescene-ish, but not in a bad way.

So Evanescence has return to the music scene since their last hiatus, with their up coming self-title album, which had a lazy cover art work (no Amy Lee on the cover!? WTF?). The first single 'What You Want' was an instant hit, and the music video is yet soon to premier. The shocker comes when the standard edition of their album leaked online, ONE MONTH before its original release date. Never mind. We still have the deluxe edition to look forward to lol.

Disaster

Disaster's the word that would best describe Jojo's music career.
That was up until she released her new single 'Disaster'
She really slayed it with this single,
I actually preferred this
over Kelly's Bruno-Mars-ish Mr Know It All (Great song though)
and Leona's attempt to be dance floor friendly by 'Colliding'
I LOVED Jojo's single choice
even if it sounds like Too Little Too Late 2.0

Mount Gading

From where I came from, there was a mountain called Gunung Gading.
It has always been there, never gone.
It watched over the town, changing and rearranging.
But it stays the same.
