Mount Gading

From where I came from, there was a mountain called Gunung Gading.
It has always been there, never gone.
It watched over the town, changing and rearranging.
But it stays the same.

I forgot the story behind its name,
though I believe it's not related to any elephant or elephant tusk.
I never went up to its peak,
but I do have my fair share of sneaking around its wood.
Children who grew up here,
knows that the mountain holds some beautiful swimming spot,
and some gorgeous waterfall too.
By the way,
my secondary school is just at the foot of Mount Gading.
I guess,
the mountain is   the town's guardian,
forever and always.
