Feb

So January is dead and gone, and  we're half way through February. My last post here was on January, which seems to be a few centuries ago, and some of you might have notice that I haven't been writing much about me, just some random stuff that I found interest in or what might interest you in. It's not that I don't wanna a little bit personal, I do, but with the people who care. So if you care and my blog doesn't provide enough insight to my private life, hit me up, you know my number.

February. The shortest month of the year. Chinese new year is officially over, but there are a couple of highlights for this month. First of all, there's death. The last time I wrote about death, it was about Amy Winehouse, this time, it's Whitney Houston. I guess the glee club in Heaven just got a new member. Am I a fan of Whitney, at some point of my life, yes. I remember the first time I was attracted to her song was when she released her classy music video for 'It's Not Right But It's OK'. Damn, this lady got style and voice. And then I fell in love with her duet with Mariah Carey on 'When You Believe', which was the soundtrack for 'The Prince of Egypt' movie/ cartoon which was never released in Malaysia due to religious issued (if I'm not mistaken). She was like the Rihanna of the music industry back then, with Bobby Brown which was her own personal Chris Brown. He didn't almost beat her up tp death, but he does dragged her down when she was soaring sky-high. After the news of her death spread through my facebook wall and twitter feeds like a wild fire, I saw this particular post, where someone said that Rihanna's 'We Found Love' video was like the story of Whitney's life, but the only difference is that Rihanna left that jackass but Whitney stayed with hers.

Whitney 1963 - 2012

After Whitney's death, there's the Grammy. I saw it live on TV. I didn't care much about who got the most award, I only care about the live performance. It was awesome seeing Katy Perry took it on her ex-husband when she performed 'Part Of Me', glad to see that the breakup didn't hold her down. It's not a shocker that Adele was the biggest winner of the night with her '21' album, while the biggest disappointment wasn't the fact that Gaga went home empty handed, she didn't even performed, plus her dress that night was a 'nah' for me, she didn't even came in her egg a.k.a. vessel or wore any typical type of meat on her. Maybe she just been too damn busy preparing for her up coming tour which Malaysia wasn't even on the list, and I'm still a bit angry.

Then there's Valentine day. I got to spent it with Jessie & Michelle, who both came to visit me. Nothing much to do that night, just us 3 single ladies and some seafoods. My weekly tv shows were all theme-up with all the lovey-dovey theme of Valentine, it was kinda cool and it does provide some good company for some lonely hearts on this dreadful week of chocolate, roses and hearts.

So there's the first half of February. I'm keeping my finger crossed for the second half while anticipating the arrival of March with the release of 'The Hunger Game' movie and Queen Madonna's 'M.D.N.A.' album. The second half of Feb, please be good to me.

xoxo
