Stronger

Music is the best therapy if you're down and blue. You can't either turn on some sad songs and listen to them until you ran out of tissue. Or you can sang your angry heart out with some edgier songs. Kelly Clarkson's latest offering 'Stronger' is definitely the latter of the two genres. The whole album dealt on theme of betrayal, hurt and becoming a stronger person out of it all. There's no 'My Life Will Suck Without You' kinda love song on this record, and there's no 'Never Again' kinda rock song here too. In Kelly's own word, the album is pretty much 'In Your Face' kinda album. And I still LOVE it after the endless leaking from Kelly's team.

The first single 'Mr Know It All' is actually one of the song which didn't leak earlier. It's not your typical Kelly song, kinda Bruno-Mars-ish if you know what I mean. It's not a ear-catcher at first but it eventually grows on me. Next up, 'What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)' had Kelly Clarkson written all over it. Kelly performed it earlier to her fans and everyone was singing along to it when she belt out 'Stronger! Stronger!'.  But this song was among some of the initial leaks, so as a Kelly fan, we did have some time to practice.

'You Love Me' was one of the song that Kelly herself co-wrote on the album. The title was misleading at first as it's not about love at all. This was one of her favorite song and she sang about a guy who thinks she's not good enough and made her cried while claiming that he loved her. It's definitely a single material, but I really her team chooses 'What Doesn't Kill You' for her 2nd single. Maybe they should save this one for the 3rd single. There were a few leaks which made it to the album, 7 leaks to be exact, I'm keeping track as I'm a huge Kelly fan. In terms of ballad, there were only a few on the album but I totally dig 'The War Is Over', probably because it didn't leaked before, the lyric is awesome and I just can't picture anyone else singing this one except Kelly. It's a sad ballad but it had a positive vibes to it.

It has been 2 years since her forth album 'All I Ever Wanted' and with 'Stronger' dropping worldwide this month, we now have a stronger and better Kelly. After all of the leaking and waiting, I can tell you that this album is a must have for this year. You'll feel much better after listening to this album, if not you can always switch to Adele. Other songs on the album to look out for: Honestly, Let Me Down, You Can't Win, Alone.

While there's still no news on her 2nd single, check out her 1st single: Mr Know It All
